Icon A5 is dead in the water?

The amphibious Icon A5 takes off and lands on runways ok. It lands on the water ok, but it will not take off from the water. Increase the throttle and nothing, dead in the water? Have to call the coast guard to rescue me! I have tried other aircraft with floats, and they take off from the water ok. Some thing wrong here, please advise if you can.

Parking anchor?

Thanks for reply. Parking anchor? Never heard of that. And why would a small light aircraft need an anchor? If you didn’t want the aircraft to drift near a boat or a jetty you tie it with a rope like a boat? What is the control to disable the anchor, so I can take off from the water. I remember flying around Scotland in the Icon, and taking off from the various lochs, maybe something in the assistance settings have changed?

Sorry, meant as a joke! I was wondering if the parking brake has some unintended effect…

I cannot repro this. I can sucessfully take of from the water. Your landing gear was down at the time, perhaps?
