Iconic Buildings in Liverpool, England not visible

I fly out of Liverpool, England and expected to see the iconic buildings. These include the Liver Building, the two cathedrals, Liverpool Football stadium.
Also the VRP Seaforth should have cranes (not there)! Neither is the lighthouse or Fort at New Brighton shown.
I do hope MS can get this fixed.

I fly more around Portugal but I feel the same, looks like is missing a lot of iconic stuff, at list on my country I didnt see none… Hope they work on this topics.

I noticed that too, I live close to Liverpool and it was the first thing i checked. I flew up the coast to Blackpool and noticed that Blackpool tower was missing also.

Lincoln Cathedral is not present. On a similar note, churches in general are missing. I am sure they can be added via ai algorithms.

There’s a list of all cities with photogrammetry here, I think it’s being kept up to date

This is based on the photogrammetry Microsoft currently have, which is based on Bing maps. I’m not entirely sure what is so special about Southampton and Portsmouth that gives them photogrammetry but you’ll see that outside of the USA, there’s a few cities in Australia, Canada and Europe but not many, and the four biggest cities in Europe (London, Paris, Istanbul and Moscow) all missing, as well as nothing at all in South America, Asia or Africa.

There’s not a huge amount in terms of handcrafted assets outside of these photogrammetry cities though, they’ve gone with landmarks in the biggest cities. I would hope that like Google have already done, the number of places that have full photogrammetry will increase, and quickly.

Goodison and Anfield are there, well a representation of them.

Sadly I think the photogrammetry is a bit of a nonsense. The quality just isn’t there for most cities and at range the photogrammetry cities look awful. Sadly this is a limitation of photogrammetry technology, I work with photogrammetry in my professional life but we use it for individual buildings where it to photographed by drone.
The stuff Bing uses is so low quality that I’ve actually turned it off now, I am not a fan of seeing diagonal windows on apartment buildings.

Flying over Barcelona last night I was quite happy with the quality of it, but think they need to improve some of the low LOD transitions. A few too many tall buildings turn into spikes at a moderate distance.
