Iconic mountains and natural landmarks

A lot of people use Flight Simulator to “see” places they’ve been or that are culturally/historically significant. From an airplane, probably the easiest to see clearly are mountains.

Example, here is the Matterhorn, one of the world’s most iconic mountains:

Here is what it looks like in FS2020 from roughly the same angle (though a bit further away):

C’mon developers, please put the most famous landmarks, say the top hundred or so of the most famous mountains, like St Helens, Matterhorn, Mt Blanc, Everest etc and put them in really good detail. I flew past Everest last week and it was similarly unrecognizable, apart from the height.

Just did a flight past Mount Rushmore. Not a trace of the monument. It’s just a big hill with blurry grey areas.

And the nearby Crazy Horse monument apparently has been turned into condos, as seen below (in the background):

This is what it should look like :

Hello,

to visit some especially peaks (f.ex. in Himalayas), some preflight preparation about area of flight is required, areal photos and other learning is required. Try put yourself to as like real role, you should do sightseeing flight for passengers to place you never visited and not familiar with?
