I have standard already but want all the extra aircraft. If I buy the premium deluxe from the MS Store, will it install over my standard and keep all the in game settings I have configured like joystick, etc?
You should retain all your controller settings.
I started 2024 on GamePass (Standard) and then bought the premium version and kept all my settings.
Additionally I’ve reinstalled a number of times and the controller settings have been retained. I do lose any custom cockpit views I’ve set up though.
Thanks! I was hoping i would. I could always copy the user options and settings file and paste back in. Not really concerned with the custom views. Can always set those back up easily.
The controller settings are a beast though. Ive spent collectively about 3 hours setting up for various planes and helis

Quick question, when you bought the upgraded version, did you uninstall the standard first or just install over it?
No. Just bought the Premium.
After you bought it, just start the simulator. After the start go to Marketplace and Your Library and you should see the upgrades (from standard to deluxe, from standard to premium deluxe and from standard to premium deluxe) activate everyone and restart the simulator. After that you should be set and every new aircraft should be there.
Did it myself the way you want to do it.
