Unfortunately, Working Title’s G1000 NXi turns the regular G1000 into a touch screen. It adds a touchable button on the screen to allow typing airport names etc. It’s called keyboard lock mode or something.
That’s why you see the SR22 with this problem in the video. The default version uses a regular G1000 which does not have a touch screen and so does not display the white box.
Regardless, all touch screens in the game display the white box (if using a controller) not just when using the NXi. For example, the wonderful XCub now has this white box on it’s single screen display whenever you look at it with a controller.
