Does anybody know how to fix no callout problem? I have everything on and no call out for RAAS, no Radio altimeter callout, no pull up warning sound
Hello, are there any workarounds for the rather poor interior night lighting? Is this simply an HDR conflict with a plane designed for 2020? I’ve turned off auto HDR, tried DLAA vs TAA, but the color banding on all the interior textures is really bad. I’d say visually I can’t fly this plane at night in it’s current state. I’ve tried some of the light mods but they don’t do much. I prefer the handling over the PMDG but visually the PMDG is superior. I would not have purchased this plane if I knew their night lighting was so far behind. Hopefully they don’t charge for the 24 native version that hopefully fixes this.
No issues here, possibly something with your system? You’re the first person who has complained about this, far as I know.
I did a night flight in the Max last evening, and had no issues with lighting, actually, I thought it was quite well done.

These are the most glaring for me. This sort of color banding is present in several other locations inside the flightdeck as well. Maybe if I turn off HDR? I’d rather not do that. I’m on an OLED. I’m sure it’s just a limitation of their 2020 textures? It’s a bit less pronounced with the lights up more. Looking out from inside at the engines is really poor compared to others like the fenix. Otherwise I appreciate their attention to detail.
Kind of nuts that two years after the release of 2024 we don’t have native versions of this plane. Even crazier the 757 is releasing this month as a 2020 aircraft that is “compatible” with 2024. Definitely see the difference in the LODs / textures.

One other thought: see if any liveries in the iFly manager have updates available. I remember having to go through a ton of them a while back.
Very strange… I have everything on ultra using DLAA. I’m using an OLED monitor with HDR turned on. Maybe there is a specific ultra setting that messes this up? Thanks for your input
Which version are you using? i.e what seat configuration? What livery? I just used the 178 seat version with Southwest livery and it worked ok.
I get the same.I use the 178 seat version. Create a Simbrief flightplan.Loads up in the tablet with the plan but no passenger numbers/fuel/etc.Have to enter manually..Click on send to aircraft/FMC.It doesn’t load in the FMC.I then have to add in the flight manually. Frustrating to say the least.LOL.
I haven’t flown the iFly 737 MAX 8 for quite some time, so I decided to check whether I would have the same issue with the 178-seat version LOT livery.
After powering up the aircraft from cold & dark, I clicked Navigraph on the tablet and imported my SimBrief flight plan.
Then, in the FMC, I clicked FLT PLAN REQUEST. After a while, the flight plan appeared, so I clicked LOAD and then ACTIVATE > EXEC.
I then went to Payload & Balance on the tablet and selected Read From > SimBrief OFP. Next, I clicked Load Aircraft (Immediately) and then Send to CDU.
Everything loaded correctly for me, including the fuel, passenger numbers, cargo, etc. So with the 178-seat version, I’m not able to reproduce the issue you’re describing.

Are you certain that you are using the Simbrief profile for the 178 seat (lbs or kgs)?
I remember having the same issue early on, but I can’t recall what I did to solve it… Here are some tips though.
Load into the aircraft in its default cold-and-dark panel state. Don’t load in any custom ones while testing, sometimes these behave in a weird way.
Ensure your Simbrief ID (numbers only, not your username) is entered in the tablet (looks like you’ve already done this). Make sure to import your Simbrief plan to the tablet first before doing anything – other than GPS position – in the FMC. Once your flight plan is loaded to the tablet, go to the RTE page in the FMC and – DON’T enter departure or destination airports!! If you do this, it will remove the option to request your Simbrief plan. Instead, immediately request it here:
If that “REQUEST” key isn’t there, try reinstalling the 737MAX.
