Hello Gang!
Does anyone see any value in having comm info and ILS info on the VFR map? Currently the VFR map is useless. Would be fantastic to make it useful a la X-Plane or FSX where you can click on the ILS cones and have the frequency auto tuned or at least get some basic comm info from the map itself such as airport info or even AI aircraft labels such as airline and flt number. Any thoughts? What would be the best way to make recommendations like these to Asobo?

I respectfully disagree. Myself as a real world pilot and avid Simmer, I want this to be as realistic as possible.
Look up the charts online. Airnav.com for example has all US airports. Get the real charts, learn to read them, tune the frequency, set the course, and intercept the glideslope.
Cheating by clicking on a fake map that doesnt exist in the real world and having it do all the work for you makes this a game, and not a SIM.
I don’t disagree. I am a RL pilot myself and have my Simplates and my Foreflight subscriptions however, when killing time and wanting to do certain things fast, to save time, I think these recommendations might facilitate things, especially for the non pilots. Just a thought.

Fair enough. I see where you are coming from. Im only a few hours in on this new FS2020 and havent jumped onto a live server yet, im just worried itll turn it into a game if people can just click buttons and have an ILS set up with zero understanding and intercept glidelsops wherever they want etc. (thinking to an app for ipad which has a LIVE version and its an absolute mess). Maybe if it was just implemented when not flying on the live server with everyone else and just when doing your own custom flight with AI offline

Yes, please make a better map with all VOR and ILS info like in FSX, please!! Perfect will be to see during flight all info like on main menu from the globe map with all VORs, ILS freq.
Absolutely agree in havinge detailed navaid frequencies and poi info on VFR map, simply rolling over with the mouse.

Unless you went into your settings and disabled online play, you’re on a live server.
I agree we need ILS frequencies in the game while in-flight. This is a simulator so i shouldn’t google these things.
