Ils approach alarm going off in TBM?

I have been learning my way around the TBM and the Garmin 3000. On my first ils approach attempt all was going well, app selected on the Ap thee plane descended on LOC and GS perfectly. Suddenly the green G on the screen was replaced by a blue O or 0 (zero), not sure which, and a sound, I assume was an alarm went off. This went on for about 20 seconds then the sound stopped and the Green G reappeared.

Anyone know what happened?

You flew over the Outer Marker. There are three (Outer, Middle, and Inner) on many, if not most approaches. They’ll be indicated by O, M, and I visual indicators, along with audible tones. They’re useful in situations with limited visibility so that you know how close you are to landing. You can even be flying at cruise altitude and once in a while fly over one and get the visual and audio indicator. If you look down real quick, you’ll see that marker’s airport below you.
