Same issues with ILS lesson.
Here, you have to make the lesson start with CDI to NAV1, so the user sees what the instructor is talking about.
Or even better IMHO, make the user select the right mode so he can start to learn basic GPS operations too. The same apply for the lesson on NDB navigation.
Just been trying the ILS lessons. I have been flying simulated IFR flying for years now and am totally familiar with all aspects. The lessons are a shambles. Clearly wasnât put together using the WT G1000 plus also the deviation margins have been put in way too tight and some aspects of the decision points are completely flawed.

The problem is with the G1000 NXi, with the stock G1000 I got an A without problems
I confirm that it is a bug not related to the G1000 (each version)
Please donât forget to thumbs this up guys and put in a ticket for the fix so Asobo can fix this issue whenever they can.
After seeing someone mention the Garmin addon, I uninstalled it and so far no issues with VOR Basics and NDB Basics (even aced them!). On to the last two now 
yeah i can confirm no matter what i do i always get âWATCH OUT!â at the end and instant fail
New to MSFS. Perfect landings (for me) on the ILS approach and then kicked out.
ILS test told to turn to HDG60 and then just holds forever.
Iâve played games for over 40 years and written books about them and this is bugged!
Glad itâs not just me though!
The ILS Approach is definitely bugged. After 5 unsuccessful attempts, I created a flight with custom waypoints to land at the same airport (EGPB). When I started the flight, I had to descend because it started me at 8500 ft. I set NAV1 to 108.5 and flew a heading of 210, just like in the training. After landing in my custom flight without crashing, the tower told me âexit next taxiway.â I did everything exactly the same as in the training, but the training always ends with the instructor saying âwatch out,â and I fail.

for getting ahead. Playing the tutorials is the first thing I will do once they release a new one. Yes, they are very watered down but I like doing them. I just hope they can fix this issue with a hotfix soon and that they can fix the issue with the logbook as well, it doesnât not record properly since the release of the game last year (for example, go arounds without touching runway will usually count towards a takeoff). I feel like Asobo doesnât play this game since a lot of the issues would be easily recognized after playing for at least 1 or 2 hours.

I just experienced the same two training flight issues, âwatch out!â ILS and âIncapacitated Instructorâ final IFR test. The final two IFR training lessons.
For the final lesson after turning to 225 degrees and accelerate from 70 knots to 110, I eventually headed back to the runway to make a landing.
Instructor woke up when slowing for landing âfailed the speed testâ, and on touchdown⊠âWatch out!â
Can confirm. I had to setup the instruments for your listed IFR trainings too. In rare cases the instructor triggered at a wrong time. Mostly for the VOR training.
Can confirm the topic. Did exactly what the instructor told me. Almost no deviation from localizer and glide slop. Transition phase to VFR very good, smooth landing and then: âWatch outâ and the âActivity failedâ dialog.

Same here, tried four times because i thought i was doing it wrong. Had no problem with all previous tutorial missions. Iâm on pc
I also am having problems with the last two IFR modules. I tried both multiple times and got the same result; âwatch outâ on the ILS landing and no input from the instructor in the last module.
Same here with both the ILS Approach and IFR Test. Tried the landing multiple times. Tried various touchdown points and speeds. Still get the Watch out and failed on Approach. Same thing with the test. Get to the 225 heading and speed at 110 and then nothing.
I just tried this lesson for the first time and encountered the exact same thing twice. My first try I knew I made some mistakes because I didnât change my CDI in time so I was way off.
Second attempt I changed CDI so I could see the LOC and made a great intercept, approach, and touchdown and it said âWatch out!â as soon as the wheels touched at around 50 knots nice and soft. Canât finish the lesson because of this
I can confirm that this is a problem for me too. Iâve done the mission four times and the result has always been the exact same. Gentle touchdown, followed immediately by âwatch out!â and black screen.
This is not about the quality of the landing, itâs clearly a bug.
One question: âWatch out!â to what ???
