Did you uninstall those that came with an installer before deleting the folder? if not you should have done but if you are lucky uninstalling in the windows app menu may still be possible. Also I suggest you delete any 3rd party mods in content manager that need updating, you can always re download them once a fix is available (read known issues).
As for random crashes, if you are using Nvidia’s 497.09 drivers then I am not surprised, many including myself have problems with them.
