We have an upcoming Q&A on MSFS 2024. For any developers, we would love to hear more technical details about the plans for VR. Obviously, we’d really like quad view rendering as discussed in this thread, but even a more general discussion would be quite interesting.

Yes, we need VR performance and feature development for user friendly use of VR interface within the code in cockpits and also in external views. Achieving 90+ frames to get ridd of the so called motion smoothing with the woeful jelly artefacts induced and blurr should be priority.
Even 72fps would be plenty! 90fps locked with reasonable graphic settings seems a bit optimistic for today’s (and probably tomorrow’s) hardware. And yeah, motion smoothing sucks as a long term solution. Oculus ASW is the only one I’ve seen that’s almost acceptable, but not quite.
