I live in South London UK and the local skyline is dominated by 2 huge TV/Comms masts. You cant miss these masts when flying around London. I would have thought that Asobo would have included tall masts or towers in their scenery? I’m not saying all masts, but these 2 masts in South London are about 720ft (220m) AGL, very significant scenery structures. Any views please.

They are not just eye candy, many are VRP’s. Great visual nav aids too.
Data should be available (they are on Navigraph charts).
There is an addon out there which might be something for you.

Thanks. I did create a few objects for FS2002 or FS2004 using Abacus FSDS. I cant even find the latest version of FS Design Studio anymore. I lot of websites direct you to a website to AbacusPub.com to get FSDS, but no where to be seen to download? I have loads of objects in the FSDS mesh format .fsp and textures .bmp. If I could get FSDS I could export the meshes to a format that Blender could read, and load them into FS2020, which includes Crystal Palace Mast that I had in the earlier version of MS Flightsim. I need to read up on the Developers Guide and learn how to use Blender.
Where do I find this ‘We love VFR’, cant seem to find it?

And a very good addon it is too.
It’s very good. You just drop it in your community folder and off you go. Each version adds extra types of objects, such as space telescopes and tall chimneys

I still cannot understand how an aviation simulator can ignore broadcast TV and Radio towers. Obviously missing is the LA radio and TV antennas on Mt. Wilson and/or the Louisville KY towers in Floyds Knobs Indiana mentioned here only as examples.
Are they in the WeLoveVFR add-ons? Might be worth checking the region 2 collection. If not, the author will usually add per request.
I’m not sure about the specific towers the @AAviation4811 mentioned, but broadcast towers in general are included in WeLoveVFR. The local towers I know about around me are included.
However, those towers currently do not have lights (daytime or nighttime). I think I read that it’s a limitation of the sim. Would love to see that added eventually.

They are not there, In just checked. I would just add that the Aerofly sim has these towers and they are lighted so I don’t understand how they are not possible.

I did a quick check in Floyds Knobs and found some tall masts there. To make sure you have installed We Love VFR Region 2, on the World Map, check if you have T.A.R.S. POI in, for example, Florida Keys.
