Indiafoxtecho MB 339 - Now Available!

Trevo -
Any time to do that more detailed walk through? There’s really nothing else out there to help us “cockpit challenged” folks… I’d be willing to do a Pateron myself…
I’m sure you’re super busy - wish I could help! I would if I could!!!
Thanks for what you’ve done,
Joe

For someone using rudder pedals and a yoke (rather than a joystick), would modifying the rudder pedal dead zone help the shaking? I’ll give it a try, but wonder if anyone has experience.
Mark

EDIT: with some more care in speed and control surfaces, I’m finding the shaking/instability to be pretty minor. It still seems to rotate a bit from the nose when viewed from the side when it is being unstable, but it could just be weather and operator inexperience too. It’s a blast to fly.\

FURTHER EDIT UPDATE: After the 1.10.7 update was hotfixed, I now don’t notice the shaking/instability. Perhaps I am just more experienced now in flying it, but I think it is actually more stable now. This would mean either I was doing something wrong through inexperience or some change in the sim has eliminated the issue.

Hey albireojoe…

On my radar, just haven’t had time to get to it yet… a bit of a backlog with some of my series and the recent aircraft releases and King Air drama.

I’m going to have to start picking my battles I think. May have to drop scenery reviews and stick to my current series and aircraft reviews.

Probably have to get even more focused on something when more stuff starts getting released.

Would love to review everything, but just not enough time at night.

Agree. Every single one of his videos is informative and professionally delivered.

Hi All

Love reading and finding out about this aircraft on here. I am having a blast flying this thing and am pretty new to proper simulation. I used to fly the Bell around in FS98 when I was a youngster, actually the first game I ever bought but I was too young to truly go deep into it.

First off, thanks to IndiaFox for a great plane and to Dave for your excellent videos on this plane and numerous other parts of FS2020 (Navigation etc).

I do have a question regarding this plane however. Has anyone on here experienced an issue with the Transponder and Squawk code not being operational sometimes. I would say in 80% of my flights with it there are no issues but for some reason every now and then I cannot get the Squawk code to be operational. I go through and change the code to be correct but ATC starts moaning and cancels my IFR despite it showing up correctly on the right instrument panel. Am I missing something in terms of the way I am setting up the aircraft when I start it up etc. Maybe I am forgetting a turnknob or turning one too far?

I have been using my old PS4 controller (I bought a PC for this game) and am still waiting for my flight stick to come (3 long hard months of wait). Patience is a virtue as they say! Lots and lots of late nights ahead of me!

Cheers from Australia

Tom

There is a yellow marker on the airspeed gouge, below that you can retract the gears.

Hi

I have a problem, the landing gear doesn’t go out and the rudder is very unstable in flight. I don’t know if it can come from my peripherals, because sometimes it doesn’t show up. But most of the time it vibrates a lot from the rear. Will there be any updates ??? I bought this without really asking myself the question… Apart from that I think it’s a very well made and modeled aircraft and really beautiful.

I faced that "Dolphin Dance issue… At times you can see the pedals of the rudder move by themselves.
Sometimes not… That’s a very sensible aircraft … Very agreable and smooth except when it dances like a dolphin

I purchased it and I like it, but when I fly fast, it’s like a vibration…

I think all these issues should be highlighted to the developer. I a, not sure where to contact them or how much good it will do though…

5:08 when the sun reflects off the cockpit weas awesome realism

The developer is well aware of the problems. You can contact them on their Facebook page.

good to know

Marco, a ‘tip’ for you, and well everyone. You can extend landing gear, when the landing gear lever shines ‘RED’. It starts shining red under 170kts, and its the indication that you can now extend the landing gear. Looking at the manual it can only be operated under 170 knots.

Not sure if Indiafoxtecho built it like this, or if this is a safety feature on the actual aircraft thought.

The update to 1.10.7.0 appears to have broken the the Flight Director & the ILS crosshairs in the ADI no longer work.

I feel like the handling of this plane has improved since the new update. Anyone else feel the same way?

Way easier to trim then hold altitude and to straighten up. I have never used the forced AP in this plane and found holding altitude and heading a bit difficult but now it seems a lot easier.

Where is the best place to pick this up? Not sure if I have the patience to wait for it to turn up on the marketplace, or even if that’s the best place to get it.

I think ORBX is a good spot, unless you want to wait for it to show up in Marketplace (but not sure when that would be).

Anyone have any ideas when this will be available on the Market Place? as I’m seriously a noob when it comes to computers ( this is my first ever pc bought just to play MSFS ) I wouldn’t have a clue how to buy from 3rd party sites and then transfer it to the game… I’d be scared to break my shiny new toy :expressionless:
