Excuse my lack of proper naming here, but I’ve noticed after watching old and recent Darkstar videos on the YouTube, the following.
On my PFD (page 1) I am missing the little circle that appears in the centre of the display. It seems to be an indicator of where the runway is for example. The videos I’ve watched all have this circle (that almost looks like a rear view of a wire frame aircraft fuselage.
Has anybody else experienced this, or can offer a solution?
Thank you.
It’s been a while since I flew the Darkstar, but it sounds like you are describing the FPV (Flight Path Vector). Any settings in the PFD menu with that name you can toggle on?
Hi. That sounds like it’s a proper name for it. . I’ve not found anything on the PFD. But I’ll will check tomorrow. Thank you.
I would upload a picture to show what I mean, but I can’t see how to upload pictures in posts.
I believe I have the answer to this issue of mine. I suspect it was a dlc conflict.
I’ve just got myself a new gaming PC (it’s even juicier than my cat’s nose!). I’ve reinstalled FS, but this time I have not yet installed any of the 91 dlc I have, other than Top Gun.
When I launched the Darkstar I have the Flight Path Vector symbol on my PFD. To narrow down which dlc is causing the issue I will only download a dlc when I wish to use it for the first time since FS reinstall. Eventually I’ll find the culprit.
