Well the they have a bad marketing strategy. If you want people to like your products you should make the ones you’re giving away free in the sim the best. I’m not impressed with the 310 nor the 320neo I tested shortly during beta. Therefore I won’t be purchasing any of their products.
No they certainly shouldnt. Get freeware expect freeware. You get less money out of freeware, so you can only put in less resources. Inibuilds already confirmed they can not do what they want because the authority for the 310 and 320neo lies upon microsoft/asobo. What are you even talking about
If you want people to buy your products, put out a good promo. The A310 is crapola.
To me, probably the best news since the sim came out. Truly in love with this aircraft.
But this seems to be in extremely early stages. I won´t make up my expectations to see it anytime during 2024…
First and foremost, the A350 is my absolute favorite airliner IRL so to hear that ini is doing it is the best news of 2023 for me! I cannot wait to get this thing and the wait will be almost unbearable lol.
To all ini nonbelievers, look to their actual products like on Xplane. That is where I learned what they can do, and so far they have not been able to show that off in MSFS. Remember Microsoft/Asobo contracted them to make this plane for the default sim, and they are bound by the typical Asobo release schedules and what they let them do. I’m sure the contract was a straight forward Microsoft gives ini X amount of money for product Y with exactly A,B and C features. They won’t see more money if they go back in and add D, E, and F to the a310 so can you blame them if they don’t pursue it more?
I do agree that even as an ini fan the A310 was a letdown to me personally, but luckily we can see one of “their” aircraft on the doorstep. Check this out if you don’t think that ini can produce. I’ll still wait for a few reviews before I jump full in, but I’m beyond excited to see this A350 news!
You just have no sentiment how things like that work. Inibuilds had very limited resources for the a310 and only had to fulfil a certain framework given to them. Obviously they do not work beyond that since they do not get any compensation for that and put more focus on their actual own products. People talk so much nonsense these days, the A310 is perfectly fine for freeware accessible on both xbox and Pc, it is good. There are planes sold for 20€+ that do not even come close to that quality. Your expectations and views how thing should be is absurd.
Except for the fact that it CTD’s on loading for a lot of people… I wouldnt accept that even from freeware.
Inibuilds will deliver some excellent aircraft in 2024, the future of longhaul airliners is coming good!
Believe me, they are getting paid by MS. They are not doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.
My god are you immune to logical thinking? One last time: microsoft/asobo pays inibuilds amount X to create an airplane for everyone. They have the authority, give out the framework and decide what this plane is gonna be and not. Inibuilds executes. Inibuilds does NOT have the resources nor the mission to make this as best as they can.
If they were to do a study level high fidelity airplane, they would need a lot more money from them to bring it for free. This is not gonna happen because that is not what asobo needs a Freeware plane for all platforms to be and because they do not pay a developer the amount it requires.
If Inibuilds does their own study level planes on their terms, guess what they sell it as payware like the a300
The a310/320neo are NOT representative of inibuilds skills and capabilities because they are comissioned by microsoft and serve completely different purposes. You finally got it now?
I’m not going to sit here and argue with ya. I just can’t see Microsoft partnering with someone to put out an inferior aircraft. If a company had any kind of marketing strategy, they would put out a decent plane, maybe not a study aircraft, but something with similar quality to the default planes. Something that would make people want to buy their other aircraft. I’m sorry but the a310 is ugly, looks and feels like a freeware aircraft and I wouldn’t pay a dime for it. There I’m done.
Greetings,
Looking forward fir this A350 from inbuilts.
I purchased A330 Neo from LVFR, and i’m super disappointed, FMS far from reality, instruments going dark for no reasons. And even worse sometimes lack of elevator authority.
Plus m ny others pbs, showing Final Nav when ILS is selected… seriously…
Just hope the 350 will be more realistic… with a good FMS etc
Any ideas when it will be avail?
Thx
I really hope they figure out how to enable time acceleration for this, really a requirement for such a long haul airliner.
I can assure you that the A350 will have much better quality than any LVFR aircraft. Inibuilds is a highly regarded developer in the simming scene.
Day 1 buy for me! Man, 2024 is going to be quite a year. ![]()
My credit card provider in the voice of Mr. Burns, “Excellent…”
Thanks for the reply !
I hope so as well, we all have hight expectations !
Also for the 380.
By the way if you need real pilot to check your 380 let me know. I am an ex captain for Emirates on the A380 with more than 5000 hours on type.
Also fully rated on the A330 ( current job ).
When can we expect the A350 btw ?
Thanks
I never really do long hauls but I might have to try it on some us 737 route’s and some US 757 routes
Time compression comes in handy - 4:1 makes a lot of long-hauls easily do’able in an evening after work.
I work in Retail so my work schedule isn’t that consistent enough for long hauls which is why I do regional and short flights
I don’t know if Inibuilds are watching here, it would be better if you contacted them directly on their discord or by email with your offer of help. I’m sure they’d value your input with your high level of experience.
