After latest update the A300 just falls from the sky! straight down and have no control, just out of the blue…wth??
This is not new with the recent update. This has been something users have complained about since day 1. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like they’ve solved it. I personally have not had this issue at any point.
Same here. I have over 9h of flight time in this plane and no issues at all.
Does simbrief import work on the FMC?
This seems like a decent aircraft but with many of the poor performance reports and bugs that still seem to exist I’m still holding off on this aircraft. A remote FMS for touchscreens would be nice like the Fenix, fbw and PMDG aircraft have
Anyone buy this for XBOX yet? Am on the fence, maybe after SU15?
It does work every single time I use it. I have not tried oceanic routes yet, some other modules have problems importing such flight plans.
BTW. 1.0.6 update has been released today.

A300-600 Departed From Normal Flight Twice. Takeoff and climb out normal. Established on course at 34K, airspeed controlled by AT. I had my head down in the cockpit fiddling with the FMC when suddenly the a/c departed flight and entered nose down spin. I recovered the a/c and gently brought it back to a normal climb to 34K. Aircraft was in trim and airspeed and climb stabilized. I engaged AP and the a/c immediately again departed normal flight for a radical nose down rotating attitude. I gave up in disgusts and quit to Main Menu and then the sim.
Any thoughts? I’m a relatively experienced B787, A330 and B737 sim pilot and this was new to me.
Some of my general settings reset to default values with the updates that preceded WU16. On the off chance that something outside the model may be messing it up, perhaps check to see if any of those are amiss? Chances are you are on top of this though. I haven’t bought it yet for Xbox and the short history of this one since launch on PC is really a lot to keep up with.

This bug supposedely was fixed with v.1.0.6.
Were you with a previous version?
I’m on Xbox Series X. I’ve found a few bugs in the Xbox version.

Simbrief integration with FMC not working at all. Just a “downloading error”.

When using the tablets pushback functionality if I change the direction of pushback then it causes MSFS to respawn a new pushback tug and I have to wait for it to connect.

if I flick a toggle switch (such as taxi or runway lights) then the animation is super slow (like watching in slow motion).
It seems quite buggy at the moment. I hope this isn’t a sign of the new testing regime…
The A2A Commanche is rock solid on the Xbox so it isn’t across the board.

When I looked at the A300 in the marketplace on my Series X, there was a disclaimer line with more than one acronym that I was not familiar with about stuff not implemented yet for Xbox. Wonder if any of those relate to #1 above about importing flight plans from SimBrief?
I was in v1.0,5 (?). Just updated to v.1.0.6. I’ll try it again.
Im considering buying the A300, i have 1 question: are you able to use the autopilot without an active flightplan ?
I know in the A310 you would need to have an active flightplan to use the autopilot

I just brought this aircraft as it promised panel state save in the description see there website and simmarket . No it does not there is now no panel save or any way of restoring the flight mid air . In fact it actively trys to stop you . Fuel is not saved and impossible to change unless you turn off engines . I have lodged a ticket and expect a refund if the problem is not my end . Not happy at all .Nearly £50 wasted you cannot market long haul aircraft that do not save and restore .
Maybe I am mistaken but when I read “panel state save” I understand the plane will remember cockpit switches between flights. For example, after landing I leave flaps full down and cockpit lights on. When I return to the game next day and load up A300-600 the lights will be ON and flaps fully extended.

i wish the switches and fuel was where I left them just loads the preset panel and wipes out your fuel . Worst aircfraft ever for mid flight save and restore a real battle if not impossible . Useless for long haul unless you have hours and hours to waste and can avoid CTD
For note PMDG and Leonardo work perfectly for this . Fenix I will not buy because they will not sort out . I was silly and trusted the advert.
How do I manually fuel this bird–i.e. not with a simbrief flight plan, just a simple A to B kind of flight. The Task Bar weight/fueling page doesn’t work–snaps back to the default 11%, and I can’t find an efficient way in the EFB.

In the EFB weights/cargo menu, there is a “BLK Fuel” entry where you can type in the block fuel you want to load and on the same page are the weights (which are preset based on type of cargo selected).
