iniBuilds Airbus A300 for MSFS

You can use the efb to change fuel and apply that load. But I think I’d doesn’t work if you have engines running…

I have recently returned to the A306 after almost a month away due to other commitments and have updated to V1.0.8 and my throttle calibration is completely ruined. I have scrolled back through the forums and noted others had this issue on a previous update. I did a full calibration but no luck. I have no reverses when using my Honeycomb Bravo no matter what I do. I do not have reverses on axis.

This was all working perfectly pre update. Any help would be appreciated.

With the newest update it should work

Edit: it seems it does not :unamused:

The fuel issue panel state resets and only can change with engines off was the last straw got a refund will purchase again if they put in a proper panel state save .shame nice looking aircraft useless to me.

You need to disable realistic refueling in efb settings page first.

How are you refunding a purchase from inibuilds store? If you bought from MS store, then the update may not have been released there yet.

And you need to disable the realistic refueling option in EFB settings first before you can do that. Ofcourse you need the proper update first. The update version is 1.0.8, marketplace is probably at 1.0.7 as of now.

How do you use GSX refuelling with this plane? Whether I load fuel in EFB or not the GSX tanker connects hoses to the wing but never starts refuelling. It stays there forever until I request pushback.

I’m on Xbox Series X, how does the A300 run on there? I loved the A310 and this looks great, but I’ve also read some issues with it for console?

I’m on Xbox (for now) but with the Simbrief problem there was no reason to go with the A300. Unless they’ve changed, I for one can’t see spending a great deal of time on it and I’d stick with the A310…

Simple workaround for refueling from EFB. Load Ready for Takeoff state, then quickly set mixtures levers below the throttles to off. Load fuel from EFB, then flip the mixture levers back on. The engines should resume starting and your done.

I’ve got the A300 on Xbox and it runs very well and it’s worth it for the extra immersion and the freighter variant. The only issue I have is the simbrief flight plan to fmc doesn’t work.

I have the same problem with the reverser on the Bravo throttle quadrant. Just re-configured, but no success.

Same problem here. The fuel truck arrives and connects but when I set my desired fuel quantity from the EFB it drives away. The plane continues to refuel through the EFB.

I haven’t tried to use GSX fuel truck with the A300 yet but did you guys try it with the “Always refuel progressively” enabled and “Detect custom aircraft system refueling” disabled in the the GSX settings?

Gravity. Isaac Newton has a lot to answer for.

This has actually got a lot easier for me since in a couple of updates ago by Ini they reduced the quantity of fuel already in the tanks at cold & dark to just six tonnes or so. My block fuel on Simbrief is invariably more than that, so I no longer need to reduce the starting level first (which was a real pain).

In GSX, for the general settings I have “Always refuel progressively” checked but “Detect custom aircraft system refueling” UNchecked. In the “Customize aircraft” window I unchecked “Show MSFS ‘Fuel and Cargo’ during refueling”.

Then the steps are as follows: with “Simbrief OK” in GSX, load the Simbrief flight plan in the EFB under “My Flight”, then go to “Weight & Balance” but do NOT yet click on anything in the payload selection (eg “Custom Cargo”). Call the fuel truck in GSX, and once it is in place and you get the message to use your aircraft’s fueling system, click through to the second EFB W&B screen and select “Apply load to aircraft”. The only discrepancy then is that the EFB/plane fueling happens a lot faster than the GSX fueling, but both will work and complete just fine with all the animations for GSX.

Note that I only fly the cargo version, so don’t know whether this also works for the pax.

Thx, will try it tonight. I wish both systems were integrated as good as GSX and PMDG 737 are.

edit: I did all the steps and refueling finally works as it suppose to. Thx!

I was flying for FedEx from Anchorage to Seoul and came across the “falling from the sky” bug. It scared the crap out of me, lol. Before that I flew from Fort Worth to Burbank twice without problems.

Just a question regarding the DH and MDA values. When selecting an approach i normally type in the MDA value from the navigraph charts into the dedicated approach page at the MCDU. But when to use and what to type into the DH CPT EFIS field?
Thanks for your response
