Same picture with me on a heavy Cargo Flight on Airbus A330-300 after missing approach in Warsaw.
Everyone, Ini is focusing on their release of A380 and 350v2, so I think default airbuses will not be fixed, unfortunately.
This was feeling better on the latest SU5.1 beta releases but lo and behold, another WASM crash during cruise in the A330-300 P2F (RR) while trying to set arrival. Turned the game off. I’m over this.
Yep happened to me just now when setting arrival. So dumb.
Same here, I now set my flight plan at the gate with my approach and I don’t dare change anything during the flight.
If the winds have changed since taking off, I self vector and use navigraph charts to line me up with the runway.
Not very realistic but at least I can complete my flights.
Someone, please fix this!!!
I have had about 2 or 3 WASM crashes with the A350, but none since the latest update.
The way I do it is as follows:
At the departure airport, I only have the SID and flight route up to where the STAR is meant to start. About 50NM before the TOD, I contact ACT to find out what the active arrival runway is and the STAR for the approach.
Only then do I update the MCDU with the STAR etc.
Haven’t had a WASM crash in ages.
Maybe try this approach.
