Inibuilds Airbus WASM crash

But it’s better than rotting up on Xbox and PS5, right?

You’re asking if I would rather have a PC that cannot run the sim versus an Xbox that can? And I’ve seen no evidence that “WASM crash on Xbox is even worse.”

This is not a PC vs. Xbox debate, which has no place on this forum to begin with, let alone in this specific topic. It’s best we move on.

Finally joined the WASM crash club. Still managed to grease the landing, well maybe not grease, but I didn’t crash.

“WASM Stability and Performance Improvements”!

Thanks for the heads up. Alright, looks like these birds have been parked in the hangar long enough. Time to dust them off and top up the fluids.
I’ll fire them up, and then take them out for a test run this weekend.
Let’s see if they finally fly like a dream on a long haul, or remind me why I parked them.

I don’t know what kind of witchcraft this is but the difference with the latest SU5 beta truly is like night and day for me. I went from almost 100% certain WASM crash to 0 (so far) on my last five flights with the A330. I almost dare not say it but the aircraft seems to be fixed or at least very much improved for me. Maybe Inibuilds / Asobo also put some work into the base game Airbuses

I’m on Xbox series X on SU5 beta and have got the A330-300GE currently cruising from Helsinki (MK Studios) to Madrid (LVFR) and all ok so far. I changed my mind on which runway I was going to use for takeoff at Helsinki so I went into the MCDU and changed it and it was fine. Just set up the arrival route for Madrid and it was also fine. So maybe, just maybe

The A350 is still a different case though but there is an update coming. I tried to do Helsinki to Hong Kong last night but woke up to find it had encountered a ghost WASM crash after 1 hour 28 minutes of flight time with all of the screens frozen and the plane flying in circles. I unfortunately didn’t check but I am wondering if auto-step climbs could be causing those

Are devs really take care of this serious issues?

Is it still an issue for you?

There was an update on SU5 beta tackling the issue and inbuild provided updates for their 3rd party planes as well.

Feedback so far seems positive.

I assume that the default.inibuild planes will receive the update as well, once SU5 goes live.

Hi, can u tell me which version of SU5?

MS-Store version of the current Beta

Are u still have WASM crash on the latest beta with ini airbuses?

I have not seen a WASM crash for the last 2 beta versions. I flew short (<2h) and long flights (>10h) and changed the approaches several times.

Before I saw those WASM crashes in 2 out of 3 long flights.

But just because I did not have any crashes for about 2 weeks now, does not mean it is 100% solved - i can only share my own experience.

But it clearly shows that they are taking it serious and are working on it.

A321 on short final YPPH

Seems like you still on SU4 bro… Try SU5B first?

Yes Im not on any Beta

Try beta first. It maybe less WASM crash that previous version

Just finished a short-haul flight to Maldives. No WASM issues at all. Latest SU5B w/ Navigraph 2604 navdata.

Can somebody try entering a FLT PLN manually in the MCDU and see if they get a WASM crash?

A321LR, start at RJTT

RJTT/YBCS

RJTT RWY 04
VAMOS4 PQD departure

LOCKA CODI1X arrival

GUNRO ILS 15 Y approach

YBCS

When I enter the first waypoint after departure, BAFFY, I get the crash. Happens in career and free flight.

In fact, RJTT RW04 is NOT use for departure… VAMOS SID is used with RW05, RW22, RW16L/R.
