iniBuilds KPSP Palm Springs

I guess the city of Palm Springs needs to update their Tourist attractions website. The number of turbines has actually been on the decline over the years. I guess that’s why there are so many “stock” in MSFS. They must have used old data.

How does this compare with the Axnos version from ORBX?

Knocks it out the park, I’d say. I’ve not seen Axonos’ KPSP but their other stuff is mediocre at best. IniBuilds’ latest work, on the other hand, has really blown me away!

thanks. I thought that would be the case.

I’ve been wanting KPSP since the sim came out!

I’m trying to purchase this but I’m having some odd problems with iniManager. I used it for LAX awhile back and something else and it worked fine, but now when I get to my cart I see the option to select PayPal in the background, but after I get the six-digit code and enter it, that option goes away and it wants me to put in a credit card. Uninstalled, reinstalled, booted, etc, no help. I even tried on both Windows 11 and 10. I looked on their forums and I see where others have reported similar problems with the latest iniManager build. I’ve sent an email to their support team, so I guess we’ll see what happens.

I hope you get it sorted. It’s quite a nice little airport. I was able to use PayPal myself through iniManager so I know it is supposed to work (i.e., not just generally broken or anything).

I got it to work. I had to buy it as a “guest” which let me select PayPal and move on. It’s an outstanding addition - the attention to detail is quite extraordinary to me. Thanks Dr Venkman for the heads up!

So… Can someone confirm these wig wags are IRL only on the smaller 31R runway in two spots? The larger runway has no lighting- no holdshort, no wig wags? Seems pretty strange?

I just landed there for the first time and I like what I saw overall. They did a good job cleaning up the excessive wind turbines and it now looks much closer to how it really is out there. (I lived there for a year back in the 90’s).

One thing I am disappointed by however. The Palm Springs Air Museum is on the airport and it is a great warbird museum. Unfortunately, this version has the taxiway blocked by the perimeter fence. In real life there is a gate that they open to allow their planes to access the airport.

The real P51s “Man O War” and “Bunny” are part of their collection and they give rides (If you have $1500).

It would be great if the developers would open up the fence and put a couple of parking spots at the air museum. I would love to be able to start warbird flights from there.

No harm in contacting them to ask?

I’m going to try that. Trying to get my iniBuilds forum credentials set up.

If you’re on Facebook, fire them a message there. They don’t always respond but, more often than not, they do.
