Running the native MSFS2024 version of the IniBuilds T-33 installed with IniManager, with no add-on liveries installed, the canopy glass has disappeared in the external view in SU3 beta 1.5.4.0. It’s visible as usual in internal views.
External: No glass
Internal: Glass can be seen.
Kinda looks like it’s gone from the internal view as well.
In both views I see glass forward of the A-pillar, but not aft of it (although the lack of reflections does make it hard to determine in the cockpit view.)
You can definitely see marks on the ‘glass’ just behind the pillar on the right hand side from the internal shot.
Yeah, the canopy is definitely there in the internal view. You can see the scratches just to the upper left of the windscreen frame. The entire assembly’s gone in external. I did notice a brief flicker around the canopy area in external view when panning around – wonder if it’s more FS2024 LOD fun or something?
Anyway, Jocko417 just started porting over his beautiful FS2020 liveries to the 2024 version, so I hope this gets sorted out. (Problem does occur with no liveries installed, though. First thing I checked was having the T-33 as my only add-on.)
I’m so used to canopies in other aircraft having more scratches than my old Led Zeppelin records that it looked crystal clear to me at first glance.
