Installation hangs after reaching 1GB
I can’t cope with reinstalling MSFS.
I tried all the recommended steps (tricks) to no effect.
I even did a Windows 10 reinstall.
MSFS has been working well for over a year.
Now reinstallation is impossible.
Download starts (via Xbox App), reaches 1GB (100%) and shows error: 0x603fb103 or 0x803fb10 or 0x87e00196 or 0x80070002.
no salvage steps help. Xbox support is helpless.

I had this problem once.
Same thing. Could not get it to continue the download.
Xbox help was no help. Had me download the Xbox Companion App for some reason.
I had FS2020 installed on my D: drive.
I finally Formatted the D: drive.
Luckily, I had the D: drive backed up.
Restored the D: drive.
Uninstalled FS2020 via Settings, APPs.
Xbox install downloaded the initial 1.3 GB to my C: drive.
Told it to install to my D: drive and FS2020 ran without any problem.
The additional 130GB did not need to be downloaded.
This only confirms that the MSFD installation / update process is a failure and a series of problems. I’ve never had so much trouble and stress with any other program.
