Whats with the slow download speeds in Australia? Getting 2mbps… Followed everything listed on the zendesk still have the issue.
Question - I have read some saying to uninstall and reinstall. Does that delete all files and I have to download again or can it uninstall and reinstall but keep the files that you have downloaded on your computer. This may be something I can try. thanks.
I was installing my normal game and I had to restart my computer so the download was paused, after restarting and reinstalling the game is on hold and I only need 1GB HELPPPP!

same thing with me…update install (3.68GB) just say ‘please wait…’ NOTHING happens. Can’t get out of it without shutting fs down

Having the same problem here. this is after you download the total FS sim and when you open it up after that, there is a new update “already” and like RainbowZero my computer is stuck on “Please Wait” ideas?
yes and no option to avoid update…how do you get to ‘play’?
Too many people trying to download at same time? pipes are full.

Update stuck on Please wait and doesnt download the 59gb update. this has been going on for 8 hours to no avail.
Maybe try restarting the sim and running it as admin?
Ive uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same issue.. about a quarter of the way through insulation it crashes. I restart the program and it goes to update but doesn’t complete the update work crash. Gosu setup of initial settings like graphics but then when you get to the main screen large parts of it are gray and buttons are missing like the installation is in complete. What do I do? Anyone else experience this? The purchase was through the Microsoft store not steam.
Just did, dxdiag reports 8168MB of ram memory. FSIM isn’t detecting all of it.

Disabled my VPN and tried again… it worked!!!
after a quick fly, I tried restarting WITH the VPN on to play, bu tit wanted to downstall the entire set of updates again.
Disabled the VPN, and it started after just a small update was downloaded

I found installation to be an extremely frustrating process.
I started at 9 PM. Screen seemed to stall, but I let it run until about 2 AM. Finally did a reboot. Started app again, and it went to another screen and hung. Had to use my computer for work, so killed again. And restarted at 2 PM, and it is crashing. For the 3rd crash I went to Add/Remove to look for a repair. Ah, yes. I click it and it checks it on the screen in 2 seconds. Wonder how thorough that was? So I picked to reset user data. I’ve been looking at this for the past 2 hours. Is this going to come back to life ever?
Well, if it would let me attach an image of a screen shot I did of it I would show you, but it won’t.

In the alpha I had to install the game on local disk (where windows is installed) it wouldn’t work any other way. I don’t know if this is your issue.

Okay the launcher keeps redownloading the fspackages, and it has already decompressed them. Is there any solution for this?
