So, this thing it taking longer than it should. I don’t know why it is limited to the speeds I’m getting right now. I’m on a 1Gb plan, no throttling, and other download systemd, i.e steam, origin, etc. can still max out my connection while installing msfs2020 is creeping along at the speed shown in the picture.
Odd to say the least.
The server you are receiving the download from throttles the download speed to prevent those with Huge download capacities from hogging the bandwidth.
Ugh! If that’s true, it’s a bit over the top in my opinion. Any way to change this?
Your internet plan determines the max speed you might get…the source from which you’re getting content as well as many other factors determines the speed you may actually get. The only app I have that actually reflects my download speed is Speedtest.

Are you asking if there’s a way for a user to remove the transfer speed limit from the Microsoft Azure server?
I mean, I wasn’t. I was wondering what was causing the slower speeds. Now that I’ve been told it’s being done from the server level, yes, I’d be happy to know how, if, that can be accomplished.
I wish I had it so fast.
