Instruments in External View

Is there a way to turn the instrument display’s in the external view off? Haven’t found any way yet?

Yes there is. I’m not in the sim at the moment and have something else running, so I can’t check but it is under Graphics settings I think. Huds up Display and you can turn it off/on.

Go to Options / General / Camera and find “Instrument Heads-Up Display (HUD)”, and turn it OFF.

Yes there is. Look under “options”, General", “chase camera” and there should be an option to turn off “Instrument heads-up Display (HUD)”. Regards
