Insurance costs do not reset each day but just compound whether you earn or not

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• The graphs already posted speak for themselves. Career mode is a waste of time as any money earned will be taken away in insurance costs, and trying to complete more jobs will make the money drain faster.

• Yes and like other people I’ve stopped playing in career mode because it’s just not economically viable.

• Same chart as the others before me.

I have the same problem as described by the other drivers, the economy of the career mode is a pain. Every morning I have to start over with the money at 0. Over 200,000 credits swallowed up by insurance every day without using the planes… A lot of flying time ruined by insurance. When can we expect a fix?

Edit: why is this feedback-logged and not bug-logged? this is very obviously a bug, maybe one of the most gamebreaking ones in MSFS 24

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Did not fly for few days and still every day when I just check career I get the insurance bill for the same hours I flew few days ago. So the flight hours are not reset to 0 if you do not fly and you get billed.

Here to report this same bug again.

I logged in yesterday, after the patch notes said this bug was fixed, and got hit with -19k (had not flown the airplane in days).

I logged on just now, have not flown the airplane and got hit with another -19k.

Here to report my monetary progress getting wiped out by insurance every day still.

Hello, i‘m experiencing the same thing.

I‘ve used my Vision jet maybe one hour yesterday. All Crews are turned off now. Yet i‘m billed for nearly the whole flight time of each aircraft again.
No Progress is possible with this.

Once again, I have been billed for my ENTIRE flight time of these planes. Career is unplayable because of this.

• it should be obvious that this is broken

Whelp, after trying to solve it, I have started to encounter this bug. I still think it has to do with some flight hours variable on planes you don’t fly not getting reset daily unless you actually fly them, or have them as crew on. The variable cost every day is simply reputation changing. I noted the flight hours on the insurance screen never change for those planes that show this issue.

It has been fixed and will be live from Sunday night

Do you have a link or something to validate this? This would be great news.

Im having the same issue. the formula is all wrong

This should now be fixed - please let us know if insurance is now working as expected for you. It should now be debited based on daily flight hours instead of total flight hours.
