Interesting Article on ASOBO History in FS2020 Development

This article has interesting info on how FS2020 came into being.
Note that it is an older article published on September 30, 2019 but
is really interesting. (Like, it was the brainchild of Jorg Neumann.)

Added Neumann since I referenced his name: @?neumann.
I don’t know it.

This struck me in the article. I make no comment but will just leave it “hanging” for those who may be interested.

“There’s no LOD (level of detail) popping to distract you, just a big, beautiful, and almost impossibly real world to explore.”

What happened?

That’s a good question.

That was when it was still being developed as a “sim for simmers” with PC being the target audience. Then they had to make it fit on XBOX that has a combined 16GB of RAM shared between system and GPU.

And we have what we have now.
