Ok, the download issues are far behind me. In saying that, I wish I could give any direction to as far as what I did, or didn’t do to get where I am. Honestly… I have no idea… simply blind luck. I’m of no help unfortunately.
On to my topic. I’ve been reading up on hardware used to enhance my experience from the many posts here in the forums and I am truly shocked that I can run this sim on the rig that I have.
My specs:
Windows 10 Home x64 vers 2004 updated.
Ryzen 7 2700 8-core
Radeon RX580 4gb
16gb ram
Sunflower MOBO
Potato ISP… (using pdaNet+ on phone for better connection)
I’m getting consistent 40-50 fps on high-end settings.
Why? I give up. Just know that all the variables out there are astronomical and some have found it insurmountable… as I did as well.
Simply don’t give up, this sim is and will be a staple in the flight simulator world and I believe the best is yet to come.
So I’m going to enjoy what I have and give thanks where it is due. Hopefully everyone can as well.
Yes, fair FPS there.
I’m getting similar performance with medium to high settings on 3440 * 1440p monitor with GA on an oldish i5 7600k, 2070 S and 48 gb RAM.
Surprised others with way better systems are having problems but, like you, just enjoying what i’ve got.
