Wilkommen zur Taifun!
Following on from our debut product in this category, the P-40F and the improvements we have (and will continue to) provide to that product we have learnt a lot about what you, our customers do and don’t like.
And with that, we’re incredibly happy to announce the next product in this line: The Messerschmidt Bf108 “Taifun”!
The B108 is a German single-engine sport aircraft that was first introduced in 1935 with over 885 units produced!
We have spent a long time curating this aircraft with all the bells and whistles we know you all enjoy.
This aircraft utilises the latest in Microsoft Flight Simulator’s CFD flight modelling on all primary and secondary flight surfaces; even the propeller! Furthermore, we have modelled some of the quirks of this airframe; including the use of it’s leading edge slats to allow it to land as slow as 45 kts! CFD has allowed us to model the STOL characteristics of the aircraft in the sim.
On the topic of using the latest and greatest technology available to us through Microsoft Flight Simulator; the Taifun also uses Version 4 of the Modern Fuel System. Customers will also enjoy an authentic replication of the Argus As10 engine, based on original German manuals and real world recordings of this historic engine.
A personal favourite feature of this aircraft for us is all the interactive points available to you: from folding wings, doors, stowage; you’ll never be short of something to play with in the aircraft!
Don’t speak German? No problem! English translated gauges will be available as one of many toggles in our EFB. We have included 10, high resolution liveries from all across the world, as well as your choice of rain covers!
