For me, it’s no surprise it’s also on the Quest 2 and I should think it’s on most headsets.
Some users may not see it if they don’t use the controllers, of course.

Hello community manager, Since this thread still feedback-logged is not converted to bug-logged, I fear that this annoying popup is just a new feature and will stay in SU4. That popup is really annoying. thanks!
Hi @DanyLavoie,
I’m sorry to hear that this is still annoying you. As you correctly mentioned, this item is still marked as feedback-logged at this current time. Unfortunately there’s no more information I can provide at this exact time regarding this, but appreciate you letting us know that this is still present in the latest SU4 Beta build.
The MSFS Team
This problem is also (I believe) linked to the mouse problem in VR SU4 beta, which actually has been bug-logged after 90+ votes. Both bugs occured at the same time, and neither have been fixed.
I’m reverting back to SU3 because I fly exclusively using Quest 3 VR controllers
This popup message still on latest build of SU4
Anybody found a walkaround this issue with a Mod or something?
Anyone who tested the version 1.6.21.0 can say if the issue still persists? I’m out of SU4 beta just because of this annoying message.
After being inspired by the fix forthe CTRL-C issue in the latest SU4, I used my investigation skills with the precious help of Claude.ai to create this simple mod. It work perfectly for me. no popup Sorry can’t get rid of the bip for now, i’ll try maybe eventually. It work for my quest3 using link over USB. i’m not a programmer but Claude.ai is very good at it and guided me very well. took maybe 2-3 hours total, my conclusion is that I hate HTML, easier to fly.
apparently, it can’t be distributed as a mod. need to replace notifications.html directly in the installation folder.
*** Updated v2 DeelLav simplified it and I think he will be able to convert it into a mod to be put directly in the community folder ***
Good luck and happy flying.
Yes
I’ve posted it here
small update. Community folder mod hopefully incoming.
@TadeuPrimo let me know if it work for you too, you seems to have a similar setup.
Hi,
Feel free to check out this post and share any other messages that you find “intrusive.”
Thanks! Really appreciate this one. it make my day ![]()
Dear Asobo,
I know that no one from Asobo is going to read that…
still some hope
That disconnect popup is still present in the latest SU4 1.6.27. It is totally useless, please take some time to correct that before SU4 release, it is really really annoying to see that each time I flip a switch.
Suprising that it is still feedback-logged, it is clearly a bug. A sticky popup like that can’t just stay in the final SU4.
Installed your MOD today and completely solve the issue. No controller disconnect popup anymore.
Still a issue in 1.6.29.0 anyway.
There is now a much better mod.
I’ve tried that one but my sim wasn’t starting after install it. So I teste yours and it works.
Hello community manager,
That annoying popup message is still showing, and the official SU4 release is approaching. This issue should be raised again with the development team, because VR users on Quest will complain once the release goes live.
It would save support tickets and keep flyers happy. This is a real issue and very annoying.
