I’m sure similar reasons also explain why, parked at almost every airfield I land at, there’s a mini 500, an OV-10 Bronco, a Pasped Skylark, either in wheels or floats configuration or, occasionally, both, even though only one Pasped Skylark was ever actually built, and an F-22, of which the USAF has so many they just leave them lying about everywhere.
