IRIS Simulations Jabiru J160 and J170

Nice! Looking forward to flying the new Bush Trip!!! Any clarification on Weather changes in Bush Trips? I do own the SoFly package. Does it specify to set a specific preset or does it incorporate the weather into the trip automatically? And for those that do NOT own SoFly, what if anything does it change?

The Bush Trips integrate three presets from WPP into the Bush Trip weather, so regardless if you already have WPP or not, the Bush Trip uses it’s own custom preset from WPP as part of the package.

It doesn’t add three WPP presets to be used in free flight, just in the Bush Trip.

Cool. Now I gotta find out if the latest update broke Jabiru too or not… I know Carenado’s and BlackBox’s aircraft are all broken now.

Mine seem okay so far… but by all means, let me know of any issues you encounter.

Hi David,
I get corrupted download after approx. 200MB. I sent an email to help@irissimulations.com.au and enclosed my invoice. May I ask you to provide an alternative download link for me (dropbox etc.)?

Thank you.

Regards
Joerg

Hi Joerg,

We’re working on it at the moment. Will get you a solution asap.

Sorry for a silly question – how do I update? I bought it on the previous version but no new downloads appear at https://store.irissimulations.com.au/my-account/downloads/

In the past you just needed to download the product again. It is always the latest version.

There’s no download offered. Do I have to buy it again, or am I missing something?

Yes, you are right. Just checked for myself. Maybe they encountered some problems with the new version.
You do not need to buy the plane again!

Yuuuup, I broke it with a ■■■■ wordpress plugin.

I’ve got about 150 orders to hand fix now, but it’s 5am and I’ve been up all night, so bear with me. I’ll fix it up a little later.

Sorry guys.

Eagerly awaiting my orbx update for the Auzzie gal

I must have run the update query just as you were changing pages.

Should be good to go now.

Thank you! The new download was real fast and no more problems with a damaged zipfile for me. :+1:

ORBX is still waiting for an update, right?

Correct, it’s with their team for evaluation on the file structure changes from v1.2.5 to 1.3.0

There seems to be a new bug in 1.3:
I cannot shutdown the aircraft. Even with fuel cut and everything turned off the engine is still running.
Can someone confirm this?

Still waiting for Orbx to update to 1.3
But I remember even in the previous release the engine stopped, but the propeller kept spinning.
Could this be what you are seeing?
