On one PC I am in the beta program of the insider hub.
This PC shows me today the version “Sim Update 4 1.6.11.0”. So seems to be the final version, no added “beta” in the name.
But on my other PC I do not get it. So 1.6.11.0 is not the final SU4?
@Asobo: Is it so hard to just write into the version information page the version number?
Every second beta release did not have a number.
WHY?
The sim version name has never had “beta” appended, even for beta version. The current SU4 beta is actually 1.6.13.0, which was released yesterday.

Hi @DerAbt4803
You can find the most recent version of the Sim Update 4 Beta, with the included Release Notes here: Latest Sim Update 4 Beta | MSFS 2024/Beta News topics - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums
These can also be seen within the simulator itself. With every beta release a new version number is given, with the latest version being v1.6.13.0.
Thanks

I disagree. When opening the version information page every second beta release has had no information number, but only links to SU4 information pages.
If you open the sim and alt enter the version number will show

Is this the process you are using?
Following the link above, the numbers are displayed in the index page:
Then to the release notes themselves:
Each one in the series displays the release note number in this location!
The current version is in the header of the app. Not the version information page which is likely updated at release.
No I did not look at the title of the windowed view. I clicked on the “Version Notes [R]” at the bottom of the Main menu.
In big letters there is (not in all releases) the version number, as ist is now stating: “Sim Update 4 1.6.13.0”
This was missing at least at the 2nd and at the 4th release, I believe. there was just a Link to the forurm without any version information.
And at the other releases (except .1.6.11,0 and 1.6.13.0) were stated as “Sim Update 4 beta 1.6.x.0” on the in-game page (I am sure about 80%).
That is my concern and that’s why I asked, if .11 was final. I was missing the “beta”.
So or so I am complainig about not being consistent in putting the version number in the info page.
Once You find the number opening the page and learn ‘ok the vbersion is here’; but at the next release this is missing. I did not think of changing to windowed mode, because having the version number in the title bar is common on many Windows programs, but it is not a Windows standard to expect.
The other way would have been to check the properties of the executable file. But since it it such a hassle to find it on my differently installed systems, I did not try to.
