My 4K monitor is also Gsync compatible, which I have enabled.
My settings along with LS are as follows.
Nvidia panel: Gsync compatibility ON and Vsync for MSFS20/24 controlled by the app.
In game settings: Native 4K resolution (TAA or DLSS) and Vsync OFF.
FPS Lock via Rivatuner, set to 30FPS.
LS Scaling set to x2 and Vsync Default. Only FG, I don’t use Scaling option.
In principle this configuration has worked perfectly for me in both simulators.
I get a stable 60 FPS (I usually get between 35/55 FPS without LS, depending on the aircraft and situations) and a smooth behavior.
But I like to know the experience of other users to know if there is any way to improve the use of the program and get better results.
I’ve always found Vsync settings confusing, as it can be enabled or disabled from multiple places (Nvidia Panel, In-Game, LS…) and I’ve never really figured out which option is best.
