Is Asobo Aware Of This?

MSFS is great but why release updates without fixing the glaring problems first? Excess trees everywhere (Growing all over buildings and ships) Buildings looking melted or sharply pointed. Cars driving through water.

I’m no scenery expert so maybe someone can shed some light? Does Asobo know of these issues? Have they addressed it?

You can adress it.

I guess as long as people vote for other kind of bugs and features (such as the roadmap evergreen “Helicopters are a Must”) such things stay in the sim for a loooong time. People should have voted for important bug fixes early on.

Ive just done a request. Thanks

Those things you mention are quite obvious so you can bet the developers are very aware. There are reasons why they don’t get fixed even if users demand a fix. One is that it would be very expensive to fix. Another is they lack the resources to work on those.

A lot of these sorts of bugs are side affects from the AI used to create the lovely scenery in the sim, it will probably get addressed in the long run but ultimately they are prioritising the big ticket items that people have voted for or that will keep the sim profitable. All the stuff in 40th anniversary edition for example.

All fine with me tbh, it is what it is and Asobo only have so many resources, but as others have said the best thing to do if you find something broken or want something added is submit a zen desk ticket and vote on the forum items.

It’s all about priority.

When lots of users say “You can bet the developers are very aware” and no one made a official complain then there is no need for Asobo to put it high on the list.
This forum is “not always” the best way to get attention of the developers team.

A official request is direct way to get attention of the Asobo development team,

Aaaah - the all-time-classics. Looks like someone noticed

1.) “No don´t report that bug because THE DEVELOPERS ARE AWARE OF EVERY SINGLE GLITCH THAT OCCURS WORLDWIDE and have MORE IMPORTANT ROADMAPS to follow!”

2.) "This is absolute UNIMPORTANT no one cares if this sub-system or that MCDU subpage is simulated, no one is interested if this system or that feature is simulated correctly, no one cares if the FMC functions like in a real airplane as long as some simple flightplan and nothing else can be entered - all of this is not important for flying-by-the book.

3.) No one cares if there are texture glitches or polygon glitches and other graphics bugs because a) they cannot be seen while looking out through the windshield or b) they are unimportant for by-the-book procedures.
(The logic behind that is absolute awesome and can compared with: “Oh how unfortunate my living room burned down while I was on vacation but I cannot see the fire damage while looking out through the window into my garden - therefore no need to contact my insurance company!” hahaha  )

I never cared about all forum + Discord standard answers 1) 2) and 3) related to EVERYTHING bugged systems-wise or to polygon and textures glitches, and reported every glitch or graphics bug I found anyway direct to the developer.
And lot´s of stuff has already been fixed (especially from Flysimware, and wow these guys are fast when it comes to bugfixing, all visual bugs are not completely ignored like all other development teams do but Flysimware brings alot of love and attention to their masterpiece! Sometimes visual bugs have gotten a fix after a week followed by a whole load of new awesome features! For example the small gap between the propeller spinner and the turbine axle visible when looking out at the engine from a camera perspective more to the front of the cockpit had been fixed after three days. And the small visual glitch in the two dome lights some other user noticed and I promised ticketing to Flysimware was fixed a week later.) AWESOME!! Kudos.

For a better and perfectionized glitch-free Flight Sim for all of us

Nope. You’re the very first to point this out!

There is a difference between a “glaring problem” and a severe problem. Is the problem causing a CTD? Fixing CTDs probably is prioritized higher than fixing non-CTD problems. Some graphics issues have to be sent to the companies that make software parts for MSFS.

Brb: starting a new wishlist topic to make the devs aware.

“Removal of erroneous submarine-car hybrids are a must” pls vote
