I’ve got a 4070 with a i5-13500k and 16gig ram.
I have seen on youtube that dlss and frame generation on a 4070 gets over 100 fps… So i’m i missing something?
I’ve tried alot of things, changing settings, i get the same fps. Mid 60/70’s. Tried to change dlss. Updated my drivers. Gpu and Cpu is around 50%…
Must be something that doesnt add up here? is it to low ram maybe?
Can also ad that i get the same fps in new york as in the middle of the ocean
Frame rates vary a lot depending on the settings, machine, what plane you’re flying, where you’re flying it, whether you’re on the ground or flying, at what altitude, and in what weather.
What you should see, if it’s working correctly, is about double the frame rate versus when it’s off. Remember that frame rate reported in the developer fps meter won’t reflect this! You’ll need an external monitoring tool.
It’s common for people with high-performance machines to still get more like 30-40 fps without frame generation on the ground at large airports in complex airliners with AI or live traffic on, in which case a doubling to 60-80 fps (or slightly lower due to overhead) wouldn’t be super surprising with frame generation.
DLSS is still a little buggy for me
I get a solid 40/50fps but its not clear pretty blurry

U got 40-50 fps with 4070ti with dlss and frame generation ?
I got 40 fps on my old pc with 1080ti, i7-9600k 32gig ram. 1440p.
I will try to turn down Ai traffic, hope that helps.
Something that i think is strange is first time i tried mfs2020 with my new setup, i got 100+ fps, then suddenly it went down to solid 60-70… ?
Is this the FPS reading from the dev tools? As far as im aware that only shows the FPS without frame generation.
Use MSI Afterburner or similar to see the correct value.
Have you tried turning on XMP in bios for your RAM? You stated it’s at stock 2666mhz. Might make a difference for you.
I got about 120-130 fps with my 4070TI + 7800X3D in 3440x1440 full Ultra with dips down to about 70-80 fps at bigger airports with live traffic, but I stop using FG because huge VRAM usage in DX12, I run locked at 48 fps in DX11 instead, smooth as butter everywhere.
