Is it possible to manually set the arriving and departing runways?

Hello,

Is there already an option or a mod to manually set or adjust the arriving and departing runways, or say the active runways in MSFS?

Would be a nice feature.

If somebody knows, please let me know.

Greetings,

Arriving and departure runways are dependent on wind direction

The description for AI Flow contains this statement. I’m not sure what people’s experiences with it have been as it is a relatively new feature:

Blockquote
New for version 2.09/8/10: AIFlow can force inbound AI to land on user-specified runway(s) at an airport. No limit on the number of airports (lists allowed), but two runways max per airport. Useful to force landing runways for expected weather or traffic at departure, destination and alternate airport or to build a personal list of airports and preferred landing runway operations.

If you are planning your route within the sim itself, then yes, you can specify which runway to land on by chosing a low or high level IFR and then selecting an Approach (ILS, RNav etc). The runway is specified in these options.
It does mean, in some cases, that you may select a runway that is not correct for the wind direction.

I think that when you programme the route without specifying the approach, the ‘correct’ runway is selected - I may be wrong with this.
I find the least amount of errors occur in the route planning when an approach is specified and an ‘Arrival’ profile.

Select the dropdown and then choose your runway.

Thank you for all the replies. These give some ideas for the future to work with. Greetings Boudewijn
