Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by ordering hardware from other vendors where the item is shipped within a business day (or at least given an estimate). However…
I decided to join the fray and buy myself the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo units. I put the order in 10 days ago–both items listed “IN STOCK”. I did send a request to customer service to see if they had an estimate on when they planned to ship. I actually got an apology stating they didn’t know when they could ship as they’re having warehouse issues. So, I’m curious if anyone else has had similar experience, or am I just the lucky one to pay a little too much money for something that I may or may not get in the unforeseen future?
Order some Virpil stuff, unless you get lucky with the timing, you’ll wait 2 months before it ships.
I’m not knocking it, just stating facts. That is the reality of today, and I’d say if you have to wait 10 days to ship Honeycomb items, that’s not too bad, in my opinion.

Honeycomb is well known (and documented) for having poor turn around times, customer support, or just getting back to people in general.
If you can order from a supplier, who has stock, you’re better off going that route versus direct from HoneyComb.
Great products, but horrible business.

Thanks for the suggestion. Couldn’t find it at the usual places, but just placed another order through GulfCoastAvionics. Never bought from them before, so crossing my fingers… and cancelling order with Honeycomb direct.

yep it can take a while. Its worth the wait though. Best products I have ever used in my 30 years of using MSFS.

Now to try getting Honeycomb to cancel my direct order with them. So far, no response. Left voice mail with them too. Meanwhile, GulfCoastAvionics shipped my order this morning–less than 12 hours after ordering.

Yes they can be slow. I got this email this week…“we are experiencing delays with shipping labels”. So if they can’t get shipping labels I imagine everything is backed up.
