I have not paid that much attention to traffic in the game, but I was curious if “live traffic” and ATC are aware of your airplane.
Lets say ATC clears you for landing on final, will ATC clear a plane to take off on the same runway if the same plane is cleared to take off in real life or will it hold for you to land first before giving the “live traffic” clearance.
This is something I was just wondering about if anyone has an answer.
I only fly with offline AI, since that’s what gives me the least grief. With multiplayer, there’s always some nimrod that wants to do stupid spit to attract attention, and then with “Live” traffic, I’m always having to go around.
The Official folder has a few AI-only aircraft listed as Generic. Judging from the size of the folders, my guess is that they’re low-detail models intended to be easy on lower-end rigs.
you could use FSLTL Traffic injector. Its free, lets you choose how much traffic you want, and that traffic goes around or waits for you.
its quite good in my opinion.
I only fly with live online traffic - If i’m on final and taking my time at a busy airport, I can hear ATC requesting other traffic to go around but the traffic is never visible so I guess it doesn’t bother spawning it but just issues the command.
