Finally I got things right. Kinda like ‘flying blind’. It took 1) unhooking my hotas one from my PC, then 2) restarting windows and then 3) re-binding a couple of controls in msfs to get everything working. I got no indication if my system is using a new hotas one driver—probably my lack of knowledge using windows 11.
But I did get that annoying microsoft message that ‘an unauthorized program wanted to change my computer’. I responded ‘yes’ but I got no indication what then happened. Hopefully it was the hotas driver being installed rather than some malware.
