Got it. I always have that off now. Good info. Thanks again.
you do not need to update your drivers everytime, if it works well, no reason at all.
sometimes older drivers perform better.
If the manufacturer sells RAM at a Speed, it is safe to use it at that speed and it is expected to run at the XMP profile. (Extreme Memory Profile).
If you do not have XMP enabled, your motherboard will use default settings and likely set the ram to 2133mhz with slower timings.
If you want the ram to run as fast as it was designed to run, enable XMP.
When you power up your motherboard. the POST (Power On Self Test) will run the âMemory Timingâ setup to insure the memory is working ok on the MB.
If the memory is OK the Bios will run and boot.
Memory Timing is also performed when you change the memory speed in the Bios.
If your CPU and MB specs allow the speed of your memory,
you should enable XMP.
Or set the speed in the Bios to the speed of the memory.
Otherwise, just buy slower and less expensive memory.
Note: I donât know what the âDOCPâ is.
This is failure of the mainboard not being able the complete the âMemory Timingâ configuration.
Could be bad memory or bad mainboard.
