Don’t disagree. I don’t play multiplayer, so the current capabilities of the free/payware work fine for me.
There are lots of “extra” features that replays could have that further complicate the picture, all of which are possible with the current free/payware products:
- formation flying (so live flying alongside your own replay(s)
- droping out of the replay into “live” - e.g. take a replayed fligth so far, then take over the controls
- instant rewind - so instantly pause and wind back a few minutes to “try that dodgy landing again thanks”
- auto record to video
- ability to add text overlays
- ability to auto switch cameras when viewing the replay
