I’ve been flying MsFs since 1982 and I loved the old missions . My criticism of MsFs2020 was that it got too boring for me in the long run. So I was all the more looking forward to the new career mode.
And I was basically not disappointed. I’ve now flown for about 35 hours. I’m at level 85 and I have almost all the licenses (planes and helicopters)
Here are my positive and negative points:
Positives:
+Training and introduction to the different airplanes and helicopters
+it’s motivating that you have to earn the skills and licenses and can work your way up the career.
+Varied jobs that can be carried out all over the world and the region can be explored for new jobs.
+Many strategic possibilities
+Visual representation / animation of the jobs and conversations of the passengers / helpers
+++ I LOVE the new 3d ground graphics and the rocks, the mountains. This makes the missions on the ground, in the (swiss) mountains or worldwide much more interesting, exciting and impressive. Thank you Asobo and Microsoft!
Negatives:
-still many many bugs
-Worldwide unbalanced job distribution
-Unbalanced money earning of the different jobs.
-Passenger conversations somewhat monotonous. A voice AI like Chatgpt 4o would be very cool here.
-The missions could be even more varied.
