It’s not that big a deal, though. All of the 4090s include adapter cables, and as long as you’re careful to fully plug in the cables and not put stress on the connector by bending the cable too close to it, the odds of ignition are pretty low. 
Using the 4090 with a Corsair 1000W here and adapter cable with no problems.
