Is there a problem with fs2020 for miss aligment of the runway?

i see that landing in any airport the airplane is not aligned on the runway, is there a problem for that?

Maybe it’s windy.

If you’ve got the controls, just align it yourself. Some airports won’t be exactly right with ILS, but much more rewarding doing it yourself rather than letting the AP do it

And lots more fun in the wind we have today

Who is flying the plane, you or the AI?

I do get the feeling that msfs might have an issue with magnetic variation. Perhaps someone with a greater knowledge might like to comment.

There are no general issues with runway positioning.
Using the latest sim nav data, or Navigraph nav data they are correctly placed.
There are a few that need some naming updating…

Cross-wind.

Off-set ILS or RNAV approach (deliberate).

do they have fixed already of misalignment problem of the runway or we have still to make the aligment manually?

thank you

You probably aren’t getting responses that are satisfying your question because you aren’t really giving us enough information to really understand what you mean. Could you please post a screenshot of what you are describing? (A video would probably be better but harder to do.)

For example, what people are saying about the winds is that, if there is no wind or if the wind is exactly aligned with the runway, you will (basically) end up pointing the aircraft directly towards the runway and be able to stay aligned with the runway centerline during approach and landing. If the wind is at even a slight angle off of the direction of the runway, you will have to do something to counteract that crosswind component if you want to stay tracking along the extended runway centerline while flying in, and this most often means pointing your aircraft somewhat into the wind, which is called “crab.” (In some planes you can fly like this all the way to touchdown, while on others you have to straighten out just before touchdown.)

Is that sort of what you’re talking about, or is it something else?
