Hi there,
I’ve recently purchased MSFS for Xbox series X and also a Turtle Beach controller.
I’m really struggling to get to grips with it (the last time I played was in 2001!!
One question I have - is there a VR headset that I could use or a similar (non-VR) that will move the display on my TV?
Many thanks
Hello @KidneySplitter,
Welcome to the forums!

Hey o7
Welcome to the forums. I’m not quite getting what you’re asking.
I’m not playing this on Xbox but there is no VR available for Xbox. And even if there was, you’d be wearing a head unit and not be able to see the TV anyway?
What are you struggling with exactly? Looking around in the cockpit?
The Turtle Beach has a hat-switch doesn’t it? That by default is usually set up to look left/right, zoom in/back, cycle between close up views kf instruments etc and sit higher in the “seat” or cycle to a “landing zoom” view.
You could also set it instead to be more like a free look mouse-stick (turning your head slowly and freely in all directions) with another button set to reset to forward facing view. Is that what you mean?
If you can confirm, we could give more details on exactly what to set up on your controls to make it work better for you.
I think you’re looking more for some head tracking hardware like TrackIR. But none of it is available for consoles.
In general consoles are nice for casual flying and sightseeing. If you want something more serious you need a PC. Some might not agree, but I believe that’s how it is.
I flew on xbox for over a year before having the idea to try this. It was absolutely game changing to me, so much better than the quick views that the hat defaults to. It really feels like a poor man’s VR being able to look in any direction. I was so annoyed with myself that it took so long to have this idea.
