I have a CH Pro Throttle USB and, well, the calibration is not correct in the game. Works fine in other games, but not MSFS. I don’t see an option to do that in game. Any ideas?
What’s wrong with it? If it’s backward, you can use the “reverse axis” command.
My only issue is that my CH pro rudder pedals are not working at all . they are recognized though
The problem seems to be that I cannot take it down to true idle. In that one combat simulator I can fine tune the axis to make it work properly, but I don’t see the same level of fine tuning here.
I found that I had to use the two center levers, which are normally the prop controls, to get full throttle travel. When I tried to set the left two levers as throttles I only got half travel. Is that what you get?
I think this is my issue. My throttle only works from idle to half throttle.
(I use the Thrustmaster HOTAS)
Where are the instructions on doing this right?
So far very dissappointed with this new MS FS. On all other flight sims this has worked out-of-the-box. Now I need to manually assign every controller, even the basic axis-controls…
In addition to several other bugs, I think I will wait for some patches before spending too much time with it. I will just be ■■■■■■ if I continue
look in the guides /new pilot guides section, there is a nice guide how to calibrate your device in windows 10
For me, it works perfectly in Windows 10 and all other games, it is just inside MSFS that it does not work as intended.
I had the same trouble with making fine adjustments . Now I am using the Throttle 1 Axis mapped to the Joystick L-Axis Z and it works perfectly.
So I finally found what I was looking for. If you select your throttle in the control configuration screen, there’s a “Fine Tune” button on the very left hand side of the configuration window. Clicking that will bring up another dialog that allows you to fine tune the axis, set dead zones, etc. That allowed me to set the min/max values, etc. I needed to make things work properly.
Although I did experience a new control problem today. When I launched everything this evening, I found my mappings had been completely cleaned out and since there’s no default for my CH stick and throttle, I had to go and remap everything again…
Appreciate this. I have been tinkering with the same issue and i never saw the sensitivity option and now its not perfect but a lot better than it was. Feel like I have spent more time tinkering with control set ups than I have flying
Where is this exactly? I went to options controls and all I see is a sensitivity window? Is this the right area I need to be in? My throttle doesn’t go all the way forward so I only get 3/4 throttle. In xplane it worked perfectly. Not sure how to resolve this. 2 days now. Just want to fly
I just resolved my issue. I simply unplugged the throttle, set the mixture and throttle to exactly half and plugged it back in. Now they both work fine
