I have established a good configuration for my control units.
Is there an option to save this setup so that it can be re-established later if I later try to make a new setup.
If you are referring to the assignments you have made for your controllers in the sim Controls Options, these are saved “in the cloud”.
Anytime you reinstall the sim, as long as you sign in with the same profile, they will be restored!
If you want to actually save the files, copy and save this folder, then replace it after you rebuild the sim.

Topic title altered to reflect question.
These settings are already saved - they should re-load, as-is, every time you load the sim.
If you get new or additional controllers, or if you want to create a custom configuration for certain types of planes, you can create a new profile for any controller in the Controls options section of the sim. You can customize the new profile as you like and switch between them from the Controls menu at any time.
Of course, as LameLefty says, create duplicates. I do it all the time. Testing different sensitivity settings. Simply give it a different name such as ‘Corsair-1’.
