Is there any update by Asobo regarding the bugfixing? Some statements regarding a possible timeframe regarding the bugfixing of the major bugs? Any comments?
I would welcome some sort of communication with regard to the above mentioned topics.
Regular updates are posted every thursday on the website.
Along with a list of known issues:

Thank you. I meant some more specific statements with regard to a possible timeframe but perhaps I am still a bit naive . Thanks for the hints

No. There isn’t.
As they released a patch with known CTD bugs in the release notes it would be good to have a timetable when they will be fixed.
They just updated to the latest bugs… erm.. I mean, patch.. yeah…patch … last week. If their past schedule is anything to go by, I would say next week at the earliest.
Setting specific time lines for when a bug will be fixed is difficult if the cause of the bug isn’t readily apparent. Once the cause has been identified, the side affects of the changes must be investigated through thorough regression testing to avoid a knock on affect as we have seen with the latest patch.
Everyone wants the problems to be corrected as soon as possible, but let’s not be so impatient to push for unattainable schedules just to appease.
Judging by the Developer Q&A, Asobo don’t seem to be interested in hot fixes, so I think we will have to wait till the next scheduled sim update, which I think is still a few weeks away.
And even then, I would only expect a few problems to be solved - certainly the VFR map (as it causes crashes), while most others will just be added to their “backlog”, as they call it. And , of course, we all look forward to seeing what new bugs are introduced.
(Mind you, I do sympathise with them - I know what it’s like developing an app that just grows and grows, and eventually nobody really understands the full implications of even minor changes.)
