A point of view from someone who flies a real Airbus and also uses MSFS and X-Plane.
Using a mouse in 2024 is honestly going backwards.
Being able to reach the buttons and levers with the real distance of your hands and being able to perform what you do in a real flight with the same muscle memory in the simulator is a huge leap forward in virtual reality.
Never touch a mouse to fly in the last 4 years.
And yes, even complex key bindings like pull push Airbus knobs are easy to set up in the touch controllers. I never miss a click.
